Case Study

Leigh House, Somerset

Transforming a Grade II* listed building

A key focus was transforming an outdated 1980s kitchen, brick garage, and internal service corridors into a spacious, modern kitchen, open-plan dining area, and an adjoining suite of utility rooms.

Externally, we used authentic Bath Stone for new walls and installed Ham Stone window mullions with steel-framed windows, complementing the adjacent Jacobean stonework. Internally, the new layout merges seamlessly with the historical structure, while large-scale windows and doors open onto the surrounding garden, enhancing natural light and offering stunning views.
